To install Home Depot's self-adhesive vinyl tile you will need the following tools: • Scissors • Utility Knife • Carpenter's Square • Chalk • String • Pencil & Paper If you are removing any existing flooring, we recommend an Electric Tile Knife/Scraper. It makes removing adhesives, paints and sealers much faster and easier.		An electric tile knife is available at any Home Depot Rental Center.

TrafficMaster Pro® Basement Proofer TrafficMaster Pro® Basement Proofer is intended for use with tile in basements. It is a uniquely formulated copolymer resin that improves adhesive performance under difficult and adverse conditions. Moderate moisture and alkaline levels commonly found in basements (below grade) are reduced to a lower level, allowing installation of peel-and-stick vinyl tiles. The one gallon container will seal up to a 650 square foot basement, and our quart size will seal up to a 162 square foot basement. Metroflor Matte Finish This is a very popular brand of cleaner and finish for use on TrafficMaster brand vinyl tiles.
